“DOLLHOUSES FOR A CAUSE”

House 1 House 2

I’ve always loved dollhouses (although I’d rather refer to them as miniature homes) and building them has been therapeutic for me.  When I show my miniature homes to children, there is always the same reaction:  “Wow!  That’s neat!”  But, it’s the glow in their eyes that sparked me to do something more with the homes that I build.  I immediately thought about the children in the hospitals that spend the majority of their time there and thought this would be a great gift to share with them.

After researching this matter online, I stumbled across a lady (affectionately known as “Ann of New York”) who had already taken the dream and ran with it!  Ann has been in the business of building and decorating miniature homes for children that are seriously ill due to the effects of cancer and has built well over 150.  Inspired by her determination and willpower, I have decided to conquer this quest in the DC, Maryland and Virginia metropolitan area.

My goal is simple:  To bring happiness and joy to a child that is battling issues far greater than our adult minds could ever possibly imagine.

Recently, I teamed up with a local Children’s Hospital (Oncology Unit) and will begin building and donating miniature homes, in hopes of bringing smiles to the children that fight the battle of cancer each day of their lives.
I am always seeking sponsors who are willing to donate a miniature home kit or other agencies that would benefit from one of these miniature homes.  If you are interested in donating a dollhouse or know of an organization that may benefit from one of these miniature homes, please do not hesitate to contact me via email at:  brezworldmini@gmail.com

God Bless!
